Kiley Mullins is a Stage Management student from Central Virginia (Lynchburg/Charlottesville) in the School of Design and Production. This is her second year as a student ambassador, and she can't wait to meet you and tell you about why she loves UNCSA!
What brought you to UNCSA?
UNCSA kind of snuck up on me. I heard about it from a family member and applied, not
expecting anything to come of it. I had been searching for the program that was right
for me, and I wasn't even quite sure that stage management was what I wanted to commit
to. But after my interview and tour here, there was no question that this was the
perfect place for me. Luckily, I was right! The education that I've received so far
has been incredible. I've been offered the unique opportunity to work in dance, theatre,
and opera in a way that I wouldn't have gotten to in any other program.
What is your favorite spot on campus and why?
My favorite spot on campus is Sneden's Landing. It's a courtyard/outdoor classroom
space outside of Design and Production. It's so beautiful and peaceful, especially
in the spring and fall. Perfect place to sit if want to see all of the comings and
goings at D&P!
