Born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina, Rebecca Armbruster started dancing at the age of three years old at her local dance studio. At the age of sixteen, she attended the Commercial Dance Intensive hosted at the University of North Carolina School of The Arts. This convinced her that UNCSA was where she wanted to continue her year-round training and journey into her professional career.
In 2018, she left home to begin her undergraduate degree and will receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in contemporary dance in May 2022. During her studies, she had the opportunity to work with esteemed professors and choreographers as well as the chance to be exposed to a variety of movement styles and classes. It was at this school where her passion for choreography grew and she hopes to share her passion with many others by pursuing freelance choreography in her future.
