Romina Duran

Romina Duran is an Argentinian-American actor born in Miami, Florida! She fell in love with acting at a very young age after developing an unhealthy obsession with the movie “Singin’ in the Rain.” Her passion was nurtured further after attending New World School of the Arts for high school. And she was beyond ecstatic to earn her B.F.A in Acting at UNCSA.

UNCSA Drama credits include Sue in "Fefu and Her Friends" and in the Ensemble of "Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812." You can see her in the fall as Assunta in "The Rose Tattoo" and in the spring as Madame Ragueneau in "Cyrano de Bergerac." She has also appeared on camera in collaboration with the School of Film including "The Applecalypse" directed by Minh Ngo and most recently just finished filming "Envoi" directed by Jared Laufree.

In her leisure you’ll often find Romina critiquing Ingmar Bergman films, baking apple crescent rolls for her friends, collecting various records and recently trying (and failing) to play guitar. Her favorite part of the day is at night when she can perfectly see the stars and count out all the constellations.
