Timothy is a fourth-year Stage Management Student in the School of Design and Production and is a North Carolina native. He is super excited to continue his journey at UNCSA as a Student Ambassador and introducing promising artists to such an amazing community!
What brought you to UNCSA?
The School of Design and Production at UNCSA supports its students and educational
outcomes in a way that is unmatched in our field. Specifically, Stage Management students
leave the program with a proficiency in not just the hard skills, but the soft skills
in leadership, management, and self reflection that will allow them to thrive in an
industry that is always moving. Additionally, the emphasis on career readiness and
job placement upon graduation leaves me certain I will be ready to enter the workforce
after UNCSA.
What advice would you give to Prospective Students?
Whether you are first applying, auditioning, or interviewing, just be yourself. The
faculty want to see your authenticity come through in all your work. In a world that
can begin to feel artificial, being your true self is your strongest attribute and
will help you make it through this crazy long journey, both at UNCSA and in the industry!
