Victoria King is a fourth-year undergraduate music composition student with a minor in creative writing.
Victoria has always had an appreciation for music as an exercise in empathy and communication. As a versatile composer and collaborator, she has experience writing for film, dance, and theatre as well as the concert hall. Her pieces have been performed and recorded by Ensemble Intercolor, the Balourdet Quartet, the Corvus ensemble, the UNCSA symphony orchestra, and Choral Arts Initiative. She has participated in Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival's Composing in the Wilderness, Choral Arts Initiative's PREMIERE|Project Festival, and the Zodiac Music Academy and Music Festival.
Victoria is excited to continue working in ArtistCorps where she can give back to the community while engaging in her favorite things: music and all other art forms, teaching, and working with others.
