Design & Production's Ronee Walker crowned Ms. Senior Forsyth County 2025
Design & Production's Administrative Support Specialist, Ronee Walker, has been crowned the winner of
the second annual Ms. Senior Forsyth County competition. This pageant celebrates women
aged 60 and older who embody what organizers call the "age of elegance."
As an affiliate of the Ms. Senior America organization, the competition honors dignity, maturity and inner beauty. Contestants compete in four categories that mirror the national competition: Evening Gown, Philosophy of Life, Talent, and Judge's Interview.
At a vibrant 66 years young, Ronee has dedicated eight years to the State of North Carolina and six years to the School of Design and Production at UNCSA. Her passion for the arts is deeply rooted in her background — she studied acting and dance at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts/West in Hollywood and at the Weist-Barron School of Acting in New York City.
Before joining UNCSA, Ronee built an impressive career as an actor and petite model. She appeared in runway productions and national print ads for Macy's, Nordstrom, JCPenney, Pendleton Woolen Mills and more. Her commercial credits include Subaru, Payless Shoes, VanGrek Urban Wear and Winn-Dixie Stores. She made her film debut in George Covic's 1988 short film, "Welcome to the Neighborhood," which was featured on "Night Flight" in the early 1980s. Her stage experience includes Off-off-Broadway productions, including "Sister Under the Rainbow" and "The Best Christmas Ever," a beloved "Wee Sing" children's production.
Beyond the arts, Ronee's passion for service and faith is evident. In 2008, she became a licensed Worship & Arts Minister under Bishop J.R. Stowe and now serves at Infusion Worship Church under Pastor Mike and Minister Alicia Clinton. There, she serves as co-director of the Infused Dance Ministry, is a member of the Women's Leadership Ministry, and is actively involved in numerous church initiatives.
Outside of her professional and ministry work, Ronee enjoys traveling, watching classic films, spending time with family and friends, relaxing by the pool, reading and listening to dramatic audio renderings of the Bible. She is also passionate about writing and directing Christian plays and is a dynamic public speaker.
With her grace, talent and vibrant spirit, Ronee embodies the very essence of the Ms. Senior Forsyth County title — a celebration of elegance, strength and passion for life.
