Volunteer for WSSU's Breast Cancer Awareness Week!
In a chance for collaboration with our sister UNC system school, Winston-Salem State
University (WSSU), Staff Council encourages you to participate in WSSU's upcoming
Breast Cancer Awareness Week!
The events, taking place October 20-25, include a kickoff party, a candlelight vigil and a 5K walk/run. Volunteers and participants are warmly welcomed! Register to volunteer or participate at wssu.edu/cancer-awareness.
Event Schedule
- Monday, Oct. 20: Kickoff Party, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 21: Pink Ribbons & Pins, noon to 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 22: Panel Discussion: Coping & Body Dysmorphia, 6-8 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 23: Candlelight Vigil, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 24: Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 25: Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run & Diaper Dash, 7 a.m. to noon
