The album includes Hulme’s solo violin piece “An Eternal Flame,” dedicated to the people of Ukraine and inspired by a poem by Alicia Richards. Bieler’s performance has drawn high praise, with Fanfare Magazine noting her “melodies swoop like a curlew…maintaining a perfect sense of underlying pulse,” calling the work “cripplingly difficult” and "a testament to Bieler's abilities that we hear this as a powerful piece of music."

Hulme, who teaches at North Carolina Central University, speaks about the collaboration and Bieler’s performance in a recent video interview, reflecting on their longstanding musical connection across Europe.
