Voting opens March 18 for 2026-27 Student Body President election
The UNCSA Student Government Association is hosting the election for the 2026-27 Student
Body President on Wednesday, March 18, through Thursday, March 19.
The Student Body President collaborates with representatives from High School Student Government, Graduate Student Council and the Association of Student Governments. This individual also interfaces with UNCSA's administration, faculty and staff, advocating on behalf of the student body. The Student Body President represents the student body as a Board of Trustees voting member.
The Student Body President (SBP) candidate is:
- Kiley Mullins, a rising third-year student in Design & Production

Career Readiness
- Collaborating with the Teaching and Learning Center to develop career readiness learning opportunities for all students.
- Advocating for the use of Bridge Days for networking opportunities, certifications, and other skills building activities.
- Ultimately moving toward a career readiness curriculum within each of the schools.
Student Advocacy
- Building on the foundation of SGA to give us more power to bring up issues with administration and the deans.
- Increasing visibility of the SGA to be a more effective mouthpiece for student needs.
- Providing ongoing communication to students about where certain initiatives are in their development to increase trust and efficacy of new program rollouts.
Interdisciplinary Solidarity
- Improving interschool collaboration through communicating our shared experiences to each other.
- Using this solidarity to advocate for changes that benefit all of the schools.
- Improving communication from students to administration and vice versa.
You can cast your vote starting at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, through 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, March 19. All undergraduate students may cast one vote for their candidate of choice.
