Kenan Institute offers facilitation workshop registration

People standing on a stage with confettiThe Kenan Institute for the Arts invites UNCSA students, faculty and staff to participate in "Building Trust, Imagining Futures," a facilitation workshop designed and led by theatre-maker and facilitator Michael Rohd. Up to eight UNCSA registrations will be funded by Kenan Arts.

Hosted by Kenan Arts and MUSEws, Rohd’s workshop equips participants with tools to design and shape experience, help groups productively accomplish goals, and move through difficult moments when they arise. The workshop invites participants from all sectors, both within Winston-Salem and beyond.

Rohd is a theatre-maker, educator, facilitator, and process designer who has led cross-sector initiatives that bring cultural strategies to education, community planning, and public health, with a focus on advancing civic imagination and dialogue.

The workshop is structured as six sequential three-hour workshops, taking place May 27-29, 2026 at MUSE Winston-Salem’s newly renovated facility at 226 S. Liberty Street in downtown Winston-Salem. Participation in all sessions on all three days is required.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Meredith Rector (rectorm@uncsa.edu) by May 10.
