Staff Enrichment Sessions scheduled for October
Staff Enrichment Sessions will be held on Oct. 20 & 21 from 10 a.m. to noon and 2
p.m. to 4 p.m., with a few exceptions. In addition, Heidi Sosa from the Office of
the Registrar will also be hosting a Harvest Festival event on Oct. (see details below).
Programs will last one hour and be virtual unless otherwise noted.
Please remember that Staff Enrichment is for eight hours of time per month, so you may not be able to attend everything. Be sure to work with your supervisor to ensure sessions work with work schedules.
Staff can choose self- or team-directed professional development in place of our monthly offerings, just be sure to work with your supervisor on details. Recordings of most prior workshops are available for use in self-directed enrichment time and can be accessed through the Staff Enrichment website.
If you are unable to attend this month’s sessions, save the date and mark your calendars to ensure that you can attend future sessions! The upcoming staff enrichment schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to noon and 2-4 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon and 2–4 p.m.

Our students will walk you through where they started and how they are bringing this production to life—from the initial concept and design process through budgeting, labor, collaboration, and ultimately what you will see on stage. This is always a great discussion because it gives you a chance to see where a production begins and, a month later, how all that work comes together on stage. It is also a great opportunity to see our students' incredible creativity and understand how much work goes into taking a script from the page and turning it into a fully realized production. I hope you can join us!
