Course Planning for the spring 2027 semester
It is time for Course Planning for the spring 2027 semester!
The Planning Process
First, review your progress towards completing your degree using your Degree Works Worksheet which is accessed via E-Z Arts. Even if you think you have completed your Liberal Arts/General education requirements, it is a good idea to review your Student Worksheet in DegreeWorks.
- Identify which Liberal Arts/ General Education requirements remain for you to complete. Do you need to sign up for one or two DLA classes? Do you still need Core Classes (FYS 1000 & 1200, HUM 2100-Critical Dialogues, HUM 2200-Paths to the Present)? Do you need to be full-time (12 credits and above) versus part-time (less than 12 credits)?
- If you believe you have Transfer or AP credits that do not appear in Degree Works, please contact: liberalarts@uncsa.edu.
- Visit the DLA Hub for students where you can:
- Preview Current DLA Classes available this spring.
- Schedule a meeting with your DLA Advisor, Sarah Bryce.
- Consult your Art School Bulletins to see the four year “suggested path” that your Art School recommends for your discipline/major. You can find the recommendation on how many DLA/General Education requirements you should take by year and term. Be sure to contact your Arts advisor for questions about your major.
- Access important forms.
