Standing Committees
Standing Committees
Standing Committees are appointed by the Chancellor. In most cases they include a
liaison to the Faculty Council, Staff Council and Student Government. At the end of
each year, University Standing Committees are advisory to the chancellor, unless noted
otherwise.
Emergency Operations Center Committee (EOC)
Coordinate campuswide response in an emergency situation, training and process evaluation.
Lead: Clarisse Davis.
Ombuds Committee - Receives annual report from Ombuds Office.
Quality Workplace Committee
A cross-departmental team that is charged and strives to foster a quality workplace
environment using the Employee Engagement Survey to identify areas of concern and
of success.
Lead: Jim DeCristo
Tuition and Fees Committee
Co-chaired by the student body president and chancellor, this committee is composed
of student, faculty, staff and administration representatives. The committee is charged
with reviewing the current cost of attendance and making proposals for the upcoming
year’s charges within the guidance set forth by the UNC System Office and the UNC
Board of Governors.
