About the Division

Objective

The Division of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB) is steadfast about aligning services, training, and programs with the broad goals of the strategic plan. A core focus of EDIB is to identify, acknowledge, and address institutional policies, practices, and procedures that are exclusionary and disrupt a sense of belonging for any member of UNCSA’s community. The EDIB framework serves as a blueprint for accomplishing this mission.

Purpose

EDIB fosters access as a bedrock of institutional policies, procedures, culture, practices, and (new) traditions. At the forefront of this work are initiatives facilitated under the Office of Community & Belonging (OCB).
