The Composition program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts is
dedicated to giving you the tools and opportunities you need to develop your musical

Balourdet String Quartet
Award-winning Quartet in Residence of the Seattle Chamber Music Festival visits in
February for a recording session for our composers.
Anzu Quartet
New music ensemble residency in February includes a program of fantastic new music

Winston-Salem Symphony
The Winston-Salem Symphony chooses a winner of their annual competition for UNCSA
student composers for a professional premiere in March.
