Checklist for College Graduating Students


November 1-30 Apply to graduate. Contact the Registrar Office if you weren't notified electronically.

January - February

Check Required Courses and Financial Obligations.  To see if you are on meeting your graduation requirements, check Degree Works in your E-Z Arts student portal or contact the Registrar Office. See Student Accounts in E-Z Arts to see if you have outstanding bills. Only those students who have completed the requirements for their degree or diploma, and have satisfied all financial obligations to UNCSA are eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony.

February  - Commencement Ceremony ticket form distributed to all graduating students in their mail boxes located in the Hanes Student Commons Mail Center.

March - April

March  - Deadline to turn in Commencement Ceremony tickets form at Mail Center or submit an online form.

April - Requested Commencement tickets sent to art departments for distribution to students. Any remaining Commencement tickets will be available at Watson Hall Box Office from 2-4 p.m later in the month. Limit two.


Complete Undergraduate Class of 2018 Survey. Your responses will be used to improve services for students at UNCSA.

May 3 - Attended commencement rehearsal at the Stevens Center.

May 4 - UNCSA College Commencement at 10 a.m. at the Stevens Center. Graduates arrive at 9:15 a.m.
