Aissata (pronounced eye-sit-tuh) is an aspiring manager exploring the entertainment field. Throughout her time at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, she developed a passion for the complexity that Opera brings.
She spent the past summer in Indianola, IA at Des Moines Metro Opera as a stage management intern where her love for supporting the artists on and off the stage was reignited. By the end of her internship, she was able to articulate her excitement with being a part of meaningful art by facilitating spaces everyone can show up as they are.
Outside of her work she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, crocheting, and becoming the next MasterChef! As she transitions into her professional career, she hopes to continue to bring joy and excitement to the work she does.
