Arianna Baird, a fourth-year candidate for a BFA in costume technology, is currently a draper leading a team in the UNCSA Costume Shop. Her dual love of sewing and theater converged in high school, motivating her to pursue a career in storytelling through costume.

Earlier this year, she took the role of Costume Shop Supervisor, learning the management side of costuming and expanding her leadership abilities. She worked over the summer at The Santa Fe Opera as a stitching apprentice, honing her sewing and problem solving skills during the busy 2025 season.

Throughout her college experience, she has worked with various teams to bring drama and opera productions to life. Arianna endeavors to bring high quality work and clear communication to the collaborative art of theatrical storytelling.
