Lauren, a senior at UNCSA, anticipates graduating in May 2026 with a B.F.A. in Design and Production with a concentration in Costume Technology. Inspired by her background in classical ballet and historical reenactment, she is passionate about creating costumes that bring stories to life.
Lauren spent last summer with the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, working with a small team to costume seven performances including "The Producers," "Hamlet" and "A Raisin in the Sun." Her experience as a draper for UNCSA’s productions, most recently "A Little Night Music," furthered her interest in historical costuming for the stage.
In November, Lauren travelled to Orlando to attend the IAAPA Expo 2025, where she met with industry professionals and learned about pursuing a career in the themed entertainment industry. She is eager to further her costuming experience in all areas of the performing arts.
