Mina is a director from the lakes and woods of Minnesota. As an artist, she chases the moments where we can stitch together the fabric of the earthly experience with the fabric of the cosmos. She believe the earthly experience to be the means to the cosmic, not the obstacle. At that moment of contact between the two lives miracle–the home of wonder. This is the space she crafts in daydreams, rehearsals, and companies alike.
Mina’s work strives to paint the world as a child sees it, where everything is new, limitless, and full of the potential of good. Her room focuses on ensemble, imagination, and alchemy. The whimsical worlds she creates do not only try to justify what we see, but ask how we can play in it.
