Nikki Harada

Nikki M. Harada is currently fulfilling the role of Cutter/Draper until Spring 2026, when she will transition into the position of Costume Shop Supervisor. At UNCSA she has served as a Film Tailor and Draper for both Film, Drama and Opera productions.

Her past draping projects include "Braid Crowns," "Auras," "Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812," "Les Belles-Sœurs" and "Ballymore." Through these experiences, Nikki has developed a strong appreciation for the collaborative process of costume creation and the balance between precision and creativity that each project demands.

She is most excited by the challenge of transforming a designer's vision into a realized garment that helps define a character on stage. Nikki hopes to continue growing as a Draper and Costume Shop Supervisor by leading teams that bring storytelling to life through costume design and craftsmanship.
