Applications for the 2026 Drama Summer Intensive are open!
Faculty members of UNCSA’s internationally renowned School of Drama, along with distinguished guest artists, are the faculty in this summer intensive—which emphasizes the importance of the creative process that leads to excellent performance skills and a competitive edge.
The school’s multi-disciplinary approach to training for the stage, film and television carries over to the summer intensive. Here, young acting students—age 15 or rising high school sophomores through age 18 or high school seniors—will spend their days focused on fundamentals of the craft: acting, dancing and singing. No previous experience is required; just the passion and persistence for a serious engagement with actor training in a conservatory environment.
