Kenan Drive closed beginning May 18
Beginning Monday, May 18, Kenan Drive and the Pedestrian Bridge will close for the
summer while Facilities Management will be completing infrastructure and roadway improvements.
Faculty, staff and visitors — including Summer Intensive and Summer Community program
participants — should park in the R Lot or other available nonreserved spaces outside
designated work zones. Parking along Kenan Drive will not be permitted during construction.
For safety, faculty, staff, students and visitors should avoid construction zones
while work is underway and inform summer guests of parking adjustments.
Please note that construction schedules may change due to weather or other unforeseen
circumstances. Updates will be shared through UNCSA Campus Announcements throughout
the summer.
