If you need support with any writing project — whether it is a classroom assignment,
a grant or fellowship application, your thesis project, or any other academic, professional,
or personal writing — the Writing Center is here to support you at every stage of
your work, from brainstorming and drafting to formatting and revision!
The Writing Center and ESL Services also offers ongoing assistance to all international and multilingual students whose
first language is not English, with writing, reading, speaking, and listening comprehension.
We also support any students experiencing culture shock or struggling to adjust to
life on campus, in North Carolina, and/or in the US.
All students (high school, undergrad, and graduate), faculty and staff are welcome
to make appointments through the Writing Center. One-on-one meetings are offered both
in person or online (Hadis Ghaedi, in person or online; Nora Streed, online only).
The Writing Center is located on the 2nd Floor of the
Library Annex above the Library Cafe in the Teaching and Learning Center, room 2309.
