Last chance to register for Fall Bridge Days, Sept. 23-24
Fall Bridge Days are coming up this week, Wednesday, Sept. 23, and Thursday, Sept.
24, bringing the UNCSA campus together for two days of conversations, workshops and
opportunities to connect with leading artists and industry professionals.
Featured guests include UNCSA alumna and five-time Tony Award-nominated director and choreographer Camille A. Brown; Walt Disney Imagineering senior designer and UNCSA alumnus Jake Frizzelle; director, scenographer and experience designer Irina Kruzhilina; filmmaker and interdisciplinary artist Maya Gurantz; and Tony, Grammy and Drama Desk Award-winning conductor, music director, orchestrator, composer and arranger Mary-Mitchell Campbell (H.S. Music ’92), along with additional visiting artists and professionals.
Students will also have opportunities to take part in smaller workshops and discussions exploring careers, collaboration, professional practice and the changing arts and entertainment industries. Students are encouraged to venture beyond their own disciplines and discover new perspectives and career possibilities.
What students need to know
Student participation in Fall Bridge Days is mandatory. Students must attend three sessions over the two-day period to meet this requirement. Registration is available through the Bridge Days app on Whova, and programming concludes at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Seating is limited, so students who have not yet registered are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible for the best selection of available sessions.
Formerly known as Collaborative Days, Bridge Days creates intentional time for interdisciplinary collaboration and exploration. It is part of the new Integrated Scheduling Initiative, which also includes Intermission, Faculty Engagement/Student Wellness Days and Capstone period.
