Annual Giving

Your gift to the Annual Giving program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts assists with the annual operating costs of the School. Contributions are used for scholarships, guest artists, faculty development, and touring and outreach. Your gift may be unrestricted and used where the need is greatest, or you may designate your contribution for a specific arts school.

MAKE A DONATION

Alumni Giving

We're proud of our alumni and the contributions they continually make in the performing arts world and in all walks of life. We hope that you, in turn, are proud of UNCSA and the training you received here, and that we continue to provide for new generations of aspiring artists and responsible citizens.

As alumni, your participation in UNCSA's annual giving program goes well beyond the gift you make. It is a show of pride and a vote of confidence in your alma mater. In some ways, it is more important that you contribute, than how much you give. Every gift, no matter how large or small, really does make a difference.

Your annual gift, combined with those of other alumni, strengthens the annual operations of UNCSA and helps provide scholarships, support for guest artists, touring and outreach. We strongly encourage you to participate at any level.

For more information about alumni giving, please contact Sarah Kelly, Alumni Engagement Coordinator at kellys@uncsa.edu.

Parents & Family Giving

As the parent or grandparent of a current student, your gift supports UNCSA's mission of training young artists in a nurturing environment. Your gift may be unrestricted and used where the need is greatest, or restricted to a particular school. Gifts of any size are important, and we encourage you to participate at any level.

For more information on giving opportunities for parents, grandparents and other family members, please contact Shannon Wright, Director of Development for Leadership Annual & Family Giving, at wrights@uncsa.edu or 336-770-1427.

Giannini Society

Your gift of $2,400 or more entitles you to membership in the Giannini Society, a gift club established in 1989 and named in honor of Vittorio Giannini, a founder and the first president of the School of the Arts. Today, nearly 550 individuals and families participate in this important program. As a Giannini Society member, your gift provides funding for core annual programs, including scholarships and guest artists. For more information, visit the Giannini Society page or contact Shannon Wright, Director of Development for Leadership Annual & Family Giving, at wrights@uncsa.edu or 336-770-1427.
