Citizen Artist graduation requirement
The Citizen Artist graduation requirement ("GradCAP") is part of the 20 units required for a student to earn a diploma from UNCSA’s High School Academic Program. The core of the requirement is the successful completion of a Citizen Artist-designated course, each of which will house a robust, year-long citizen artist project.
Seniors will have a menu of courses from which they can choose that will fulfill the Citizen Artist requirement. No matter the subject area, a number of core skills will be consistent across all of these courses and projects. Further, in terms of these core skills, there will be some common assessments to ensure consistency of expectations.
