High School Profile

At UNCSA, high school students are admitted by audition to the Schools of Dance, Visual Arts within Design and Production, Drama and Music. The High School Academic Program provides a well-rounded liberal arts education, with full-time faculty who hold graduate degrees in either education or their discipline of instruction.

In addition, supporting programs and services in Student Life assist students in their personal development within a residential setting. The arts and academic curricula culminate in a high school diploma with an arts concentration in dance, drama, music or visual arts.

The UNCSA graduating high school class averages 120 students annually. Typically, students in the top 50% of the class hold grade point averages above 3.5 unweighted.
