International Students

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted international travel for many people. If you are unable to obtain a visa or cannot travel to the U.S. in time to start classes on campus, your options may include deferring or enrolling in online courses from abroad, if available. The availability of online coursework is contingent upon the revision of federal restrictions and the ability for UNCSA to virtually deliver your needed courses.

  • For incoming international students contact your Admissions Counselor to reach a decision and plan accordingly.
  • Returning international students, please contact your arts school dean or associate dean to reach a decision and plan accordingly.

International students, representing more than 20 countries across the globe, are enrolled in all five of the arts conservatories at UNCSA, and represent all academic levels from high school through the graduate programs.

Some examples of the services provided to international students are:

  • English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring
  • Advising support
  • Assistance with cultural assimilation and integration within the UNCSA community

We will guide you through pre-arrival to post-graduation. Answers to common questions are listed in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section.
