The UNCSA Viola Studio is comprised of young, talented and dedicated viola players from around the world who study with renowned violist Brett Deubner. As a member of the viola studio, you will be immersed in an environment of hard-working, dedicated musicians who—like you—are committed to the joy of mastering their craft.

About Brett Deubner
American violist Brett Deubner is recognized as one of the leading viola soloists of his generation, having performed with more than 90 orchestras in 14 countries and championed dozens of new works written specifically for him. A Latin Grammy nominee and recipient of the 2022 Global Music Awards Silver Medal, Deubner has recorded extensively for major classical labels and recently recorded concertos with orchestras in Prague, Estonia and Scotland. An active chamber musician, he has collaborated with many renowned artists and ensembles.
