Annual Security & Fire Safety Report
Annual Security & Fire Safety Report
In compliance with the Clery Act, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report each year. This report is distributed to all students and employees through email by the annual deadline of October 1. This report is prepared by the University’s Clery Compliance Coordinator in collaboration with other campus partners, including UNCSA Police Department, Division of Institutional Integrity, Student Affairs, as well as others.
The report includes information on campus safety, crime prevention, fire safety, reporting procedures, and policies on alcohol, drugs, and sexual misconduct. It also outlines related training and prevention programs.
In addition, the report contains crime statistics for the past three calendar years. These statistics reflect reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by UNCSA, and on public property immediately adjacent to and accessible from campus.
