Amber Wright is a passionate makeup, wig, and prosthetic artist who has a love for turning a script into reality. She excels at character design and has a wide range of skills ranging from wig building, prosthetic construction, sculpting, painting, and styling.
She has worked on many films as a key designer making a severed arm and even a fake head. Amber is a leader who thrives in a collaborative environment, she helps to bring the morale up! Her range of expertise is wide as she has worked on feature films and TV pilots, to UNCSA’s "The Nutcracker" as a designer and been a part of many stage productions here at school and elsewhere.
Amber hopes to work in film when she graduates. She aims to capture the emotion beneath the surface, whether that be crafting realistic wounds, fantasy creatures, or subtle beauty looks, Amber approaches each project with creativity, collaboration, and care.
