Blake Bellanger is a contemporary dance major at UNCSA. He started dancing in the small town of Clinton, North Carolina when he was nine years old. In 2018, he was accepted into UNCSA for his senior year of high school, where he was first introduced to contemporary techniques such as Limon and Cunningham.
After high school, Blake decided to stay at UNCSA in pursuit of a B.F.A. in Contemporary Dance. Throughout his training, Blake has studied many styles of dance from ballroom to ballet. He has performed and choreographed solos for himself and other students at the university. In addition to his dancing, Blake is also an Eagle Scout and considers himself a jack of all trades. His interests vary from martial arts to radios, and of course dance.
