Madison Carpenter is a designer and maker with experience in design and production across Ireland and North Carolina. As a Stage Properties M.F.A. Candidate at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Madison has developed skills in artistic collaboration, Properties Direction, Fabrication and Scenic Art.
Her passion for nuanced visual storytelling led her to serve as Assistant Designer for "A Little Night Music" and the 2026 Spring Opera. Fascinated by the history of objects, Madison works at the University Archives and as an Educator at Old Salem Museum and Gardens. Her enthusiasm for curating experiences and community is reflected in her service as Vice President of the Graduate Student Council.
In the fall, Madison was awarded grant funding to travel to Los Angeles for research on Collaborative Visual Storytelling across film, themed entertainment and immersive exhibitions.
