Sarai is a first-generation high school and soon-to-be college graduate. Sarai has worked for the Dallas Theater Center as a spot-op and designs local dance and concert events in Dallas and Winston-Salem.
Sarai spent this past summer working for the Spoleto Festival as an electrician on their Special Projects team, a pivotal experience that deepened her understanding of fast-paced production work. Currently, she is working as the production manager for UNCSA’s annual lighting showcase, Photona, and as the lighting designer for "Choir Boy."
Through her active involvement in these roles, Sarai has developed a deep interest in a wide range of lighting-focused careers. Sarai values lighting’s universal presence and its ever-evolving nature, which continually challenges her creativity and technical skills.
