Savannah Jade Dobbs is a multifaceted artist that explores the possibilities of creativity through dance, visual art and other mediums. She completed her artistic education at Holly Springs School of Dance and Enloe High School before enrolling at UNCSA for college.
Savannah is involved in dramaturgy and interdisciplinary collaborations surrounding a thesis question of queer, intimate space. Her short films “Egg” and “BDE,” were accepted into the Tanzahoi Festival and Astoria Film Festival (Best Experimental Film award). She is now working on her Kenan Creative Catalyst Certification program, while choreographing and completing a large series of paintings. Savannah hopes to travel and perform in many companies' work while teaching yoga and dance, creating, selling her paintings and continuing her education.
