Housing Operations
At UNCSA, our Housing Operations team is dedicated to ensuring that student residence halls remain safe, clean, and comfortable environments where students can thrive. Housing Operations oversees the upkeep of all common areas within the residence halls, ensuring that they are well-maintained through the efforts of our two core teams: Maintenance and Housekeeping.
Maintenance
The Maintenance team is responsible for addressing repairs and ensuring that all residence hall systems—heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical—are functioning properly.
Our skilled team responds promptly to maintenance requests and works to resolve any issues that may arise in the residence halls and apartments.
- How to Report an Issue: Use our online maintenance request form to report any non-emergency concerns with your room or common areas.
- Emergency Repairs: For after-hours emergencies, such as water leaks or broken HVAC:

Housekeeping
The Housekeeping team plays a vital role in keeping the common areas of all residence halls clean and welcoming. From hallways to lounges, shared kitchens to laundry rooms, our housekeeping staff works diligently to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout campus housing.
- Routine Cleaning: Common areas are cleaned on a regular schedule, with special attention to high-traffic areas and shared spaces while students are responsible for the regular cleaning of their rooms/suites/apartments.
