Planned Giving

Planned Giving

Your legacy can power creativity for generations to come.

Since our founding, UNCSA has benefitted from the generosity of countless donors who have demonstrated their fondness for the arts and emerging artists with gifts of every shape and size. Through gifts such as will bequests, IRA rollovers, and beneficiary designations, you can make a transformative impact on our university and fuel our artists' fires for the foreseeable future.

Contact our office today to explore how you can help build a sound foundation for UNCSA and our extraordinary emerging artists.

Will bequests

Are you looking for a durable-but flexible-way to ensure that UNCSA is a part of your estate plans? With as little as one sentence, you can ensure that your legacy will shape our campus for generations to come.

Find out more about documenting a testamentary gift to UNCSA by contacting Rich Whittington, Associate Vice Chancellor for Advancement, at (336)770-1372 or whittingtonr@uncsa.edu today.

Retirement plan rollovers

If you are 70½ years old or older, you can support UNCSA and receive tax benefits in return. You may be able to make a gift of up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to the UNCSA Foundation, Inc., without having to pay income taxes on the funds.

Find our more about IRA rollovers by contacting Rich Whittington, Associate Vice Chancellor for Advancement, at (336)770-1372 or whittingtonr@uncsa.edu today.

Beneficiary designations

Not sure what the future may hold? You can make UNCSA a beneficiary of your retirement plan, life insurance policy, or many other commercial annuities. It could be as simple as requesting a change-of-beneficiary form and naming UNCSA a beneficiary of whatever percentage of the proceeds you choose!

Learn more about beneficiary designations by contacting Rich Whittington, Associate Vice Chancellor for Advancement, at (336)770-1372 or whittingtonr@uncsa.edu today.

All planned gifts make you eligible to join the Encore Circle, UNCSA's planned giving society. To learn more about the Encore Circle, contact the Office of Advancement today.
