Parents and families are encouraged to attend specific sessions for parents and families during New Student Orientation.

LEARN MORE ABOUT ORIENTATION

The registration process varies depending on your art school. The School of Dance and The School of Drama pre-register undergraduate students for their art school classes.

The online registration window for Fall Liberal Arts classes will be July 1st. Advising sessions during orientation are for additional information, especially regarding AP and transfer credits.

Residence Life sends out housing information via your @artist.uncsa.edu email in mid-July when new students can begin the process for campus housing. If you have questions, contact the Residence Life & Housing Staff.

Textbooks used in high school academic programs are provided. Students may need to purchased books for their art classes. Those books can be purchased the virtual campus bookstore.

ACADEMIC CALENDAR

The Office of Student Transportation provides scheduled shuttles to Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, NC (airport code GSO) during academic breaks: Fall, Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Break.

Student Transportation does NOT provide shuttles to Raleigh or Charlotte airports. Important: Student Transportation is not available to provide airport shuttles at the beginning/end of the academic year (August and May).
