Resources for Students

Staff in the office of Learning Resources assist students in the academic environment as they seek balance within an intense and exciting educational experience. Students may choose from a variety of workshops and 1:1 instructional techniques that can be applied in the classroom and utilized for both personal and professional endeavors. The following array of resources have been designed to assist with academic success:

Resources for Faculty and Staff

The office of Learning Resources works closely with faculty and staff to provide the following:

  • Acceptance of student referrals via email, phone, or drop-in
  • Workshops for students scheduled and designed according to faculty or staff request and geared toward students enrolled in a particular course or activity
  • Presentations/sessions on disability-related issues or on effective teaching strategies when working with students with disabilities
  • We also assist faculty in developing a peer tutoring program to meet the needs of their course
