Guess what UNCSA students did last summer

This summer, students from all five conservatories ventured near and far — across the state, the nation and even the globe — for prestigious training programs, workshops, performances and professional opportunities. They put their UNCSA-honed skills to the test in new places with new people, expanding their artistry one adventure at a time. 

From Design & Production student Brooke Santiago apprenticing at the Santa Fe Opera to Drama students Hannah Szemereta and Alex Ekker mastering stunt work in Seattle, it was a summer to remember. In their own words, seven students share how they made these opportunities possible, the biggest lessons learned, and what's next this fall semester.
