Angelina Brucculeri (she/her) is a movement-based and interdisciplinary artist from the small town of Kutztown, Pennsylvania. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
Her early pre-professional training includes studies with Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, the Martha Graham Dance Company’s Teens at Graham program, and the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Angelina has had the opportunity to learn and perform repertory from esteemed companies such as the Martha Graham Dance Company and the Trisha Brown Dance Company.
Her creative work, ranging from live performance to short films, investigates the intersection of movement, spatial interactions, and experimental editing techniques; offering audiences a unique and often provocative lens through which to experience the world. Known for her use of layered and unconventional metaphors within her movements, Angelina challenges conventional perceptions, inviting viewers to reconsider their realities and engage with deeper truths. She remains inspired by the vibrant communities of artists and collaborators around her, whose creativity and research fuel her own commitment to pushing artistic boundaries.
