Darian Zetterquist-Martinez is an artist seeking to translate personal ideas to audiences
through collaboration and performance art. His dance journey began in Fort Collins,
Colorado, and has continued to be the primary source of their artistic expression.
He is attending UNCSA pursuing a B.F.A. in contemporary dance.
His opportunities and collaborative work within his studies under deans Susan Jaffe
(2018-20) and Endalyn Taylor (2021-22) prove to transform his vision of what a professional
career within the arts could be. Darian’s performance experiences range from Martha
Graham’s "Maple Leaf Rag" and Juel D. Lane’s original work "Trying on the Space" to
exploring dance on film in Kira Blazek-Ziaii’s "The Game." We are experiencing shifts within the arts constantly and Darian intends
to keep an adaptive nature in and outside of the studio.
