*Residential students check into their residence hall the Sunday before the start of instruction. Program orientations for commuter and residential students take place 8:30 AM the first Monday of each program. Each session concludes on a Friday. Residential students must check out of their residential hall no later than 11:00 AM the following Saturday.
Housing
- High school residential students reside in the Artist Village Residence Hall
- Residential students over 18 and one year removed from high school may stay in the Center Stage Apartments apartment complex located directly adjacent to campus.
- Students under 14 years old by the start of their program or not yet a rising high school freshman are not eligible for campus housing.
- Students living less than 25 miles from UNCSA must attend as commuter students.
Scholarships
Both merit and need-based scholarships are available. Scholarship inquiries should be directed to Dmitri Shteinberg at shteinbergd@uncsa.edu.
External Scholarships
Community organizations such as Rotary, booster clubs, churches, foundations and businesses often support students attending summer programs. Additionally, the Anthony Quinn Foundation has a competitive scholarship program for high school students in the arts.
Deadlines & Payment Schedule

Please note that fees are subject to change. Please call 336-817-5027 if you wish to set up a monthly payment plan. Payment plans must adhere to the payment deadlines above. Summer Programs are not eligible to accept funds from 529s.
Cancellations
- $200 non-refundable deposit due at registration:check or credit card. Students who have not paid the deposit will be marked as waitlisted until the deposit is paid.
- Student withdrawal by May 1: refund of one-half of total paid, less non-refundable deposit
- Student withdrawal after May 1: no refunds
In the event a program is cancelled by UNCSA, payments will be refunded in full.
