Community classes and day camps increase access to dance education for young children with flexible commitment and an emphasis on early childhood development–creative movement, motor skills, and integrative arts learning.

Children's Dance and Art Camps

These two hour camps for dancers ages 3 through 7 include dance class, short story time, and themed crafts.

Animal Friends

Dancers spend the morning hopping, slithering, scurrying, leaping and flying like all their favorite animals! This two hour camp includes dance class, short story time, and animal-themed crafts.

Saturday, July 27th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Magical Creatures

Get ready to fly like a dragon, frolic like a unicorn, glide like a mermaid .... and we might even dance a magic spell! This 2-hr camp includes dance class, a short story, and magical creatures craft time.

Children's Dance Classes

Engaging and creative, these Pre-Primary and Primary level ballet classes for children aged 4-8 are taught in both English and Spanish by bilingual ABT certified and Preparatory Dance faculty member Alejandra Doré. Through ballet vocabulary, movement games, and improvisation, participants will experience the true joy of dance.

Primary Ballet A

Ages 4–5

2024-2025 School Year: Wednesdays 2:30-3:15 pm

Primary Ballet B/C

Ages 6–8

2024-2025 School Year: Wednesdays 3:30–4:30 pm

Classes are open to the public and take place at the Intergenerational Center for the Arts and Wellness. No audition or previous dance experience is required.
