About Us

Welcome to the UNCSA School of Design & Production’s NextStage: Industry Connections. The NextStage committee is exploring new ways to help our students and Industry Guests network and find new opportunities.

This two-day virtual event will incorporate sessions on Day #1 for students to get to know Industry Guests and individual sessions on Day #2 to serve as individual Q&As or interviews for employment opportunities.

As Guests of Design & Production, Industry Guests will have the opportunity to speak with a variety of students and faculty at UNCSA, become familiar with our programs, and — most importantly — review our students’ work. This event is an opportunity to focus on the graduating students’ path after graduation.

Additionally, Industry Guests will have the opportunity to meet our non-graduating students who are interested in summer work and/or future possibilities. Your visit helps our students by giving them interviewing experience, feedback on resumes and portfolios, and the chance to expand their network for a successful career launch once they graduate.

The event software we will be using for all of our events is Remo, a virtual event platform. You will find Remo links to each event in the schedule. You will need to set up an account and get familiar with the platform prior to February 6, 2026. We will be available to assist you in navigating your virtual visit.
