Fundraising goal: $18 million
The arts have always been about innovation: new ideas, new voices, and new methods of expression. Your support for innovation at UNCSA will help our school fuse conservatory training with advances in technology and technique, preparing our gifted emerging artists to tell timeless stories in relevant ways for today’s and tomorrow’s audiences.
Your support will help fuel initiatives from the School of Dance's Choreographic Institute and on-camera acting training for Drama students to METL, Design & Production's Institute for Performance Innovation, signature School of Music programs and the Creative Catalyst Initiative.
Witness a devised theater production come to life, as students collaborate to create a script and build a set for a unique performance in a nontraditional location.
The School of Dance at UNCSA has announced the four individuals selected to take part in this year's Choreographic Institute Development Residency, Alexander Brady, alumnus Andrew Harper, Marika Brussel and Ja' Malik.
"The Future of Reality (FoR) Summit is an opportunity for attendees to explore, discuss and network as we delve into the ways emerging technologies such as virtual and augmented reality will redefine every aspect of our world," said UNCSA School of Filmmaking Dean Susan Ruskin.
