Cladia Thrasher grew up in Atlanta and began her dance training at age three when the preschool she attended opened up an after-school ballet program. Growing up, she trained in many different art forms including dance, acting, singing and visual art. In 2014, she attended Triple 7 Dance Company, which is where she truly found her passion for dance and the arts. There, she was trained in ballet, jazz, modern, tap and hip hop.
She graduated from Shiloh High School in 2018 and was accepted into UNCSA to pursue a B.F.A. and career in contemporary dance. While enrolled, she has performed works by Jose Limon, Alex Brady, Ming-Lung Yang, Merce Cunningham, Ashley Lindsey, Juel Lane, Kira Blazek-Ziaii and Yoshito Sakuraba. Cladia is passionate about multidisciplinary collaboration where she can explore other art mediums, which is something she wants to build on in her future career as a choreographer.
