Note: Tuition and fees are subject to change and may increase each year depending on the NC Legislature budget bill. By adhering to the multi-year billing calendar and ensuring transparency regarding charges, UNCSA aims to facilitate smooth financial planning for students and their families throughout the academic year. *UNCSA offers the North Carolina High School Artists Grant, which helps cover additional educational costs such as textbooks, health and wellness services, room and meal plans, and activity fees. This grant is credited to the student's account each semester. Despite these grants, some fees remain the responsibility of North Carolina students and their families and must be paid by the due date each semester to ensure continued enrollment.

The 2025-2026 annual direct cost to NC families is estimated to be $3,564 for on campus residential students and $1,834 for commuter students. Families should plan accordingly. UNCSA reassesses costs at the end of the fall semester before billing for the spring semester, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial planning.
