Meal Plan change request

For any eligible student, the meal plan change deadline for the Spring 2026 semester is Jan. 26 at 5 p.m. All requests should be emailed from the student's UNCSA email address to auxiliaryinbox@uncsa.edu.

Release from housing applications

Did you know that UNCSA has a policy requiring all college C1 and C2 students to live on campus? Students who have unusual circumstances may appeal to the Housing Review Board to live off-campus. Appeals are due by Feb. 15.

Academy Award-winning actor Troy Kotsur told graduates at UNCSA today that they should feed their spark. Chancellor Brian Cole signed the introduction of Dr. Troy Kotsur to the audience after presenting Kotsur with an honorary doctorate.

UNCSA M.F.A. graduates blend tradition and innovation in Stage Properties

During their time in the graduate Stage Properties concentration, both Henry Beard and Becky Hicks explored how traditional methods can meet modern innovation. Beard's focus on blacksmithing for props artisans and Hicks' on exploring conservation and restoration techniques are rooted in real-world challenges encountered during productions.

From the world's stages to Winston-Salem, René Barbera's global career is propelled by UNCSA

UNCSA alumnus René Barbera has appeared on the stages of the world's major opera houses and concert halls. He made his Metropolitan Opera debut in 2016, and has been delighting audiences at Teatro alla Scala, Paris Opera, Palau de les Arts, Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, and Dutch National Opera, among many others.
